Adult ADHD Assessment
Find out whether you have ADHD
Many adults live for years feeling behind, overwhelmed, or burned out before learning that ADHD may be a contributing factor. An evidence-based ADHD assessment can provide clarity, reduce self-blame, and help you understand what’s actually going on. When getting assessed for ADHD as an adult, it is important for the assessment to also consider other mental health conditions that may result in similar situations. A comprehensive assessment provides the opportunity to accurately determine whether you have ADHD
What an ADHD Assessment Involves
Our ADHD assessments are structured, evidence-based, and include:

-
A comprehensive clinical interview
-
Review of developmental and symptom history
-
Standardized ADHD questionnaires
-
Cognitive assessment
-
Differential diagnostic considerations
-
Written report
-
Clear feedback and interpretation
-
Treatment recommendations and next steps

When appropriate, we can also collaborate with your family physician or other providers.

Time Commitment
The ADHD assessment typically involves a 4-hour assessment visit, and additional time to review medical and educational records. A report is then written and reviewed with you to plan next treatment steps. The full process can usually be completed in 2 weeks.
Cost
The ADHD Assessment has a total cost of $3000 and is billed at a rate of $250 per hour. Most health benefits will cover the cost of the ADHD assessment.
