Elderly Veteran Honored

Our Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) Services provide specialized psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment for veterans and their families. We support individuals experiencing operational stress injuries, trauma-related difficulties, mood and anxiety disorders, and challenges related to military-to-civilian transition. Care is delivered by clinicians experienced in working within VAC guidelines and documentation requirements.

The First Responder Services program supports individuals working in high-stress, trauma-exposed professions such as paramedics, firefighters, dispatchers, and emergency medical personnel. We provide psychological assessments and evidence-based treatment for operational stress injuries, trauma, burnout, and mood and anxiety concerns, with care that recognizes the cumulative impact of frontline work.

Our clinic has special expertise in treating serious mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, and bipolar disorder. Dr. Best is a professor at the University of Toronto who conducts clinical trials of cognitive therapies for serious mental health conditions.

The RCMP Services program is designed to address the unique psychological demands faced by serving and retired RCMP members, as well as their families. We offer comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments for operational stress injuries, trauma exposure, anxiety, depression, and occupational stress, with care informed by an understanding of policing culture and organizational stressors.

The Women's Mental Health Service is a specialized program dedicated to supporting women through the emotional and psychological challenges of the perinatal period. Our clinic offers compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals experiencing prenatal or postpartum mental health difficulties, as well as support for women coping with birth trauma, perinatal loss, fertility challenges, and the emotional toll of trying to conceive.

Cognitive Behavioural Executive Coaching (CBEC) is a specialized form of coaching that integrates principles from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) with executive coaching practices. Its primary aim is to enhance the performance, well-being, and leadership capabilities of executives and professionals by addressing their cognitive patterns, responses, and strategies.

The Operational Stress Injury Services are tailored to the unique needs of military members and first-responders. We also serve families of those individuals. We provide comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based treatments for operational-related mental health concerns.

Our Canadian Armed Forces Services provide specialized mental health care for active-duty members, reservists, veterans, and their families. We offer assessment and treatment for operational stress injuries, trauma-related conditions, mood and anxiety disorders, and deployment-related challenges, using evidence-based approaches tailored to the realities of military service.

Our Addiction Services offer evidence-based assessment and treatment for substance use and behavioural addictions. We support individuals experiencing concerns related to alcohol, drugs, or compulsive behaviours, often alongside co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. Treatment is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in cognitive-behavioural and integrative therapeutic approaches.
