Danielle Chapman, MSW, BSW, RSW

Danielle Chapman, MSW, BSW, RSW is a Registered Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in mental health, trauma,and complex clinical care. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), operational stress injuries, and other trauma related concerns, with particular experience supporting RCMP members, military personnel and veterans, and first responders. Danielle recognizes the unique impact that occupational trauma, repeated exposure to critical incidents, and high stress environments can have on individuals personally and professionally. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical, with treatment tailored to each client's experiences, needs, and goals. Danielle is committed to providing evidence based trauma treatment and is a Certified Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapist and Consultant. Her training includes Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and COPE for co-occurring PTSD and substance use concerns.
Danielle is a Social Worker with the Operational Stress Injury Clinic at The Royal where she provides services to members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
