Anthony Jreige, BA., PsyD Candidate

Anthony is a fifth-year pre-doctoral intern pursuing clinical psychology at D’Youville University in Buffalo, New York. He received his bachelor’s in psychology from the University at Buffalo where he completed two years of research assistantship in the Stress and Coping Lab. He has previous experience conducting psychodiagnostic assessments for adolescents and adults at Thrive Rehabilitation and Wellness in Downtown Buffalo as well as providing individual therapy for students at the Rochester Institute of Technology.


His research interests center around treatment considerations for individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as individuals who experience complex trauma. Anthony prioritizes genuine empathy, respect for autonomy, and non-judgment. He takes a person-centered approach to empower clients to take lead in their personal exploration. Anthony conducts individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy sessions while incorporating psychodynamic/relational principles. He has experience in treating a wide range of issues including: depression, anxiety, trauma, intersectionality, emotion dysregulation, and interpersonal difficulties. Anthony has valued his work with individuals from eastern cultures and LGBTQIA+ communities and approaches all individuals with the same sincerity and hope.
