About the event

The 2-Day Foundations of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy workshop provides mental health professionals and trainees with a comprehensive introduction to the theory, principles, and core clinical skills of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Participants will learn how thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and physiological responses interact to maintain psychological difficulties, and how CBT interventions can be used to promote meaningful change.
Through practical examples, case discussions, and skills-based learning, participants will develop competence in CBT assessment, case conceptualization, cognitive interventions, behavioural interventions, and treatment planning. This workshop is ideal for psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, counsellors, graduate students, and other mental health professionals seeking a structured introduction to CBT or wishing to strengthen their foundational clinical skills.
